  • African American(Black) or of African descent, able to prove

  • US Citizenship, permanent resident, or have valid legal residency

  • Graduating high school senior, graduating in December 2026 or at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 school year in May/June

  • A minimum accumulative GPA of 3.0.

  • Attend a school in the Brazos Valley area (Counties of Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington)

  • Able to show active participation in community service, volunteer work, or school leadership roles

  • Able to provide an official transcript

  • Provide an essay addressing your background, career goals, and how this scholarship will help

  • 2 letters of recommendation
